A.J. and Elvis end up taking one of the strangest and funniest road trips in history, driving to Graceland, and then through Little Rock, Flagstaff, Las Vegas, Hollywood and beyond. As they travel the country, earning money through street performances and as part of an Elvis tribute band, A. J. teaches Aaron about all that he has missed, including major world events, the iPod, Starbucks, Viagra and the evolution of music since the day when Elvis first stepped into Sun Studios. And along the way, Aaron helps A. J. understand the special happiness that comes from being a parent.
